Hi everybody….Buddy here. Mom just got so busy with rescue, fundraisers, planning, grant writing, dogs on treadmills, dogs at training…well, you get the idea. She ran herself ragged…so i had a long sit down with her. She decided to turn the blog over to me…what better that a wirehair talking about wirehairs?
Mom is a Cesar Millan Ambassador, and a Sessions with Cesar Ambassador
She helps people on the community forum with information and problems using Cesar’s solutions she has learned through Cesar’s Books, DVD’s, products and from the 115 dogs she has rehabilitated using Cesar’s Way.
My story is on One True Media.com
Mom has had a lot of exciting things happen in the last few months. Lots of adoptions, lots of help from volunteers, and she got licensed to do Dog Bite Prevention Seminars for kids K-5th grade. She has done a few of these and the kids love it. She’ll start work with the Johnson County Health Dept soon. She has a lot of other irons in the fire like the capital campaign for the new building….now that will be something for sure!
Well, enough from me. We have two new fosters…Daisy and Suzy. Daisy needs a lot just now so better got help Mom.
Please see our website www.GWPRescue.com to see the new kids, and read the News on our website….pretty great to be a rescue wirehair!

We do rescue work with Mary and are a foster home for the GWP Rescue. We have been a foster home for about 3 years. Shortly after we started fostering for the rescue Mary told us about Cesar. We watch his show, have read his books, and have seen his training DVD’s. We also were a part of the beta group for Sessions with Cesar. We have since initiated his methods with our foster dogs as well as our own dogs and it has been very beneficial to us and our pack. We often take in dogs in need of rehabilitation and using Cesar’s methods has been very helpful in working with the dogs. His methods have enabled us to be successful in rehabilitating our foster dogs and preparing them to be placed in their forever homes.

I think one of the most important things you left out was the “way” you use the exercise, discipline, and affection formula. I brag on you all the time in my posts on Sessions with Cesar on your rollerblading and biking with the dogs. You have had some real live wires..LOL.
You go the extra mile to get these dogs out each and everyday to drain the pent up energy so they can be open to learning…listening…and aggression non-existent.
What do you like best…..”A Member of the Family” or Be the Pack leader?
